These terms describe the CL Learning Labs services currently available through the public site. Questions can be sent to support@cllearninglabs.com.
Public pages and the guided demo
The public site provides informational pages. The guided demo is a synthetic, read-only preview. It is not a live classroom and should not contain real student names, student work, or personal information.
30-day teacher trial
When teacher account creation is open, an adult educator or authorized instructor may start one 30-day free trial after creating an account, confirming their role, and accepting the current policies and teacher trial agreement. The 30-day free trial requires no card. Starting the trial does not authorize a charge.
During an active trial, a teacher may use the regular teacher workspace, create and activate classes, share class links and codes, enroll students, create assignments, review student work, export available records, and use available Coach features. The normal account, class, assignment, subject, privacy, and feature controls still apply.
Teachers are responsible for inviting only students they are authorized to teach or support and for using student information only for appropriate educational purposes.
The trial lasts exactly 30 days from the time it first starts. Trial expiry pauses new changes, new student joins, and new Coach requests only when no other valid access applies. The trial ending does not itself delete the account, classes, assignments, or student records. Available review and export tools remain subject to the Privacy Notice and the product's retention and access controls.
Optional paid continuation
An individual teacher may choose a subscription for $12/month, billed in USD and renewed monthly until canceled. The 30-day free trial requires no card and does not create a payment obligation. If you subscribe during your trial, no subscription charge occurs before your original trial ends.
Stripe hosts checkout and billing management. Cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period. There are no automatic prorated refunds. Contact support@cllearninglabs.com about accidental charges or billing problems.
Returning accounts
Returning accounts may have access based on an earlier offer or a lifetime-free commitment. We preserve existing account records and do not treat someone as accepting a new policy unless they actually accept it.
Coach features and teacher judgment
Coach features may use AI and may be incomplete or wrong. When an available Coach feature is used, it receives only the context needed to provide that feature. Teachers control the support allowed for their assignments and remain responsible for teaching, grading, and other important instructional decisions.
Acceptable use
Use the available product surfaces only for their stated purpose. Do not:
- share account credentials or use another person's account;
- attempt to access another user's records or a class you do not own or join;
- scrape, disrupt, or probe the service or its access controls;
- submit harmful, unlawful, or unrelated sensitive information; or
- use the guided demo as a place for real student data.
Archive and retained records
An archive is a retention state, not deletion. Records may remain subject to the applicable product retention schedule, school controls, authorized requests, dependencies, and backup aging. The Privacy Notice explains the current data categories and retention limits.
